Long ass time to write anything and spider senses?Hey there, Sorry for not updating anything on the Journal cause I'm not a very wordy in an Journal form but anywhoo..
to Its way too long that I updated... started some samples here and there and Knocked on several doors on getting myself promoted on.. though its tough but I gotta try to be the best colorist out there if my work is acceptable for some or if it works on other artist.. if there's a good reaction to your work I'm sure there is bad reaction your work which that I never received one.. to me that's strange I've not even got a bad reaction, well except the critique on several groups that I really do appreciate on it since I does give me a good feedback and improve upon my work. and I've develop some sort of gut feeling that somebody out there does not like my work I dont know why nor why do I have this weird feeling.. its annoying really or I became incontrovertibly crazy which I hope not... that feeling is started to resurface again like that time in college that
at the end of the month blogWell, its the end of june and no biting clients however does not mean I give up but I'm actually looking for a 9 to 5 job at the moment...
Still however I'm not out of the "coloring-comics" thing I just need to focus more at the task at hand... just deleted my games just to keep myself focus on the art jobs and promoting..
nothing much to do here the Islands but wait and wait. 'll bide my time with chores and coloring some pieces for practices hoping to find a proper paying gig...
This is the biggest hurdle for me as a starting freelancer but I'm still hopeful that I can make it... never cry over spilled milk i supposed but still I'll be practicing.
Best Summer Ever! and also Something special..Well, as the title suggest.. It was the best summer ever besides I got a special update. so here it goes.
At 13, 2012,
I finally graduated my college with a bachelors degree in Information Technology with also a certificate for best thesis that means I got my plan b settled for now and also I can look for work here in The Philippines. though I do want a career in comics as a colorist but I prefer to have a batman mind set (kids always have a contigency plan)
but I still go for my freelancing route.. this also brings up another case..
I'm now available for doing commissions and coloring gigs.. I'll be posting soon on my prices and I made my paypal account
but for the mean time just ask me if you are interested.. I am actually interested on coloring sequentials right now so note me if you can..
also I like to mention on thanking you cool cats who greeted me on my b day... I dont talk often on my journal cause it felt kinda weird to me but cutting the boring crap.. thanks guys.
Its the End of the Month... Let the Journey Begin.Well, Its been a great month for me... wow, I'm gonna graduate this April and the Possibility working with Marvel... I'm nearly as excited after graduation.
I'm excited for this year cause I know I can make it work. But, on the safe side I might make a resume and start shopping for some art/design/it gigs here and there cause I rather have a backup plan rather than a jobless title in the month of may and june... I do hope I can make it. But I have to be hopeful and nimble enough to get a job... :/
but anyway maybe around the month of April I might open back my color commissions.. Its been a very long time that I've done that so get ready for the Anouncement...
I'm ready for my graduation.... I can smell the motherfucking toga!!!
Devious Journal Entryits been a while since the manila trip to meet with C.B. Cebulski and it was a very high tense trip...
BTW.. Thanks to all the kind comments on the cb trip as well meeting alot of Pros...
Well... during the Manila trip that I've meet.. I met alot of Pros in the Philippine Comic community.. I feel like I'm walking among giants it was very surreal and very intimidating for me. It was tense for me... to add the kicker of it all.. Philippine Media over that event. So more pressure from me on my part...
There were only a few cebuanos attend the event when I mean few I mean 3 of us...
it was me, :iconkatsh: :iconMirthrynn: are the only cebuanos in that event. It was like a American Idol Audition...
well, after I got interviewed by C.B. Cebulski he gave a me a orange posted note and told me to send me some more samples and he like what he sees. I felt the universe was right in my place... a great feeling for me and motivate me to do more work..
I guess a lot of us received the oran
3 months without artHey.. Long time no post...
I believe It was a very long time that I post an entry in a journal so I'm going to lay down the skinny.
I wasnt posting stuff due to personal life and school life that I really need to take of therefore the lack of art and also the lack of practice. the fear that I wont be graduating with a bachelor degree might be over cause actually I'm fully a candidate for graduation.. I'm just a candidate there is a possibility if I fuck up in school... it will be in a shitter...
so 3 months lack of color art because I was working hard on my thesis that I made... so all of the attention and skill was place there.. I just wanted to have a bachelor degree and also I do want a back up plan in life if I never got a chance to do comics as a colorist...
Don Bosco said it best: "failing to prepare is to preparing to fail"
so failing to prepare life is to preparing to fail in real life. that I really don like to happen.
So yeah.. school stuff first paper dreams later.. c

SAVE THE LOUD HOUSE!!!IF YOU LIKE TLH, THEN SPREAD THIS IMMEDIATELY!!!!!
If you didn't know, I like this recent show on Nick called The Loud House, and you should go check it out too!
But that's not the thing.... The thing is that One Million Moms is trying to cancel this show for a REALLY stupid reason. Here's why:
In the episode "Overnight Success.", It appears that the Louds are having a slumber party. In one scene, Lincon's friend Clyde gets dropped off by his parents for the slumber party. Seems ok, right? But NOOO, the Moms are angry because Clyde has TWO Dads IN A TINY LITTLE CAMEO. AND THAT'S THE ONLY THING THEY KNOW ABOUT THE EPISODE!!!
Unfortunately, children are now being exposed to same-sex marriage on a network that is designed for kids.
And that's a bad thing HOW???? That's like saying "Unfortunately, children are now being exposed to b

One Year Laterhttp://koili.deviantart.com/journal/Well-546094597
Exactly one year ago, I was alone in my room, crying. Panicking about what was going to happen in a few hours. I was going to leave behind the only life I knew.
One year ago, I was covered in grease, sweat and dirt. I showered once a month. I barely ate. My clothes and bedding were never washed. I was awoken or kept up every night by my drunken mother who would scream at me for no reason. Every night ended in tears until I passed out from exhaustion. I know she tried to be a good mom, and it was my fault she started drinking in the first place.
I had known :iconchillaid: for five years prior. We had gotten close in 2013 over Animal Crossing: New Leaf. We both found each other at the right time. Our friendship flourished from there. We roleplayed every night and bonded so much. We got so close. I considered her my sister.
:iconchillaid: would hear what my mom would do over Skype. She would stay up with me for the entire night comforting
What's with 'Studying from Life'!?This is the revisiting of a news article I wrote a few years back.
Allow me to begin this article by mentioning that this was written with aspiring professionals in mind. For those of you who wish to pursue art as a hobby with no intention to make it a career choice, I have no doubts in your abilities as an artist, but art for you is a pleasure seeking thing. I would never wish to turn it into something even remotely reminiscent of 'stressful work'--as a hobby should never come to that. So for you hobbyists, feel free to take this article in, but by no means feel obliged to apply the information if you do not find enjoyment in doing so.
As for you aspiring pros, this is an inevitable and unavoidable step you must take in pursuit of your career. This is your job--and if you don't like it, you're probably pursuing the wrong career!
But I digress.
I, like many of you--strive to be a professional in the field of art. In particular, I am an illustrator. I've been fortunate enough to
